Guides have an exciting and varied programme designed to inspire and challenge girls.
Some prefer canoeing or camping or maybe going to the Big Gig, it’s their choice. Guides also choose what to wear from their own designer range.
In guiding, girls work with a group of friends, small enough to feel they belong and big enough to be a team that can make things happen! It’s a friendly, safe, girl only environment in which to try out new ideas and experience new challenges. It’s all about being a girl in today’s world.

Camp Permit
Guides aged 12 can run patrol camps alongside unit camps, and guides aged 13 and above can run a patrol camp without their unit!
Rainbow and Brownie Helpers
While you are a Guide, you can become a Rainbow or Brownie helper. You might like to help at the unit you went to or at another nearby unit which needs your help.
