Discovering West Mercia Challenge
In 2018 we launched our first county challenge badge Discovering West Mercia Challenge. It aims to help girls learn about their unit, division, county and local area in a fun and exciting way.
To find out more, follow the link below to our challenge badge page where you can download the challenge pack and see all of the amazing Sammy the Salamander merchandise we have that goes alongside it.
Peer Education
Peer educators are 14-15 year olds who help Brownies, Guides and Rangers, explore important topics. As young people, they use their own experience to bring the subject go life.
If you are interested in learning more, having a session or know someone who wants to become a Peer Educator, use the message us form and add the subject of Peer Education.
Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
As a county we offer the opportunity for girls to complete their Duke of Edinburgh’s award. We will form the expedition groups and facilitate this part of their award, while offering advice on the other sections.
If you would like more information about the award, click below. If you would like to begin your award, use the message us form and add the subject of Duke of Edinburgh.
Training
As a county we offer a vast variety of different training courses. Whether you’re a new leader or you’ve been guiding for years they’ll be something new for you to try.
