Training opportunities

As a county, we offer many opportunities for training our members. To find out the upcoming trainings and their dates, please visit the diary page. We also offer training awards, tiered at bronze, silver and gold for those who attend our training sessions. A Safe Space Training

There are four levels of A Safe Space Training. All volunteers will need to do Level 1 unless you’ve done A Safe Space training in the last three years. The previous A Safe Space training is equivalent to Level 1 and 2 of this training.

1st Response Training

1st Response will train you to provide first aid to members in emergencies – in or outside of your unit meeting place. The course was created specifically for members of Girlguiding and The Scout Association.
